As always in the summer, the water rides were all packed of course, with the exception being Tidal Wave. So, we ended up skipping Log Jammer, where we headed to Colossus (walk-on), & Scream! which was maybe 5 minutes in wait. Colossus was having a hard time releasing riders from their lap bars, so most of the unloading of the trains was slow, since the operators had to do this manually. After this, we went to Tidal Wave, prepared to get soaked. In the end, we didn't get soaked until the bridge. Oh yeah, and "Lector's Slaughterhouse", a 2009 Fright Fest maze in Gotham City was also viewable from the top of Tidal. Rides to follow were Goldrusher, Ninja & Viper. Oh and Superman was still closed by the way. And the highlight of my day was the mighty Viper. Why? No wait of course! I got at least 10 consecutive rides on it!
On our way back from Viper to Batman, we happened to notice the ground dug up in Sierra Twist's old place across from Thomas Town. You can tell that work is being done on the vacant lot, and something is obviously planned to go there. Why? It used to be concrete flat, but now the concrete is out, and in place is dug up dirt everywhere. Could we see another flat ride? I snapped a couple of photos, which I'll post soon. And after that, I took a ride on Batman (no wait), and finally Ninja again. And then after ALL of that, we were out of there, on our way to Jimmy Deans. Unfortunately, we could not find a Seven Eleven on the way home, or else we would've gotten another FREE SLURPEE!
