Whatever the exact reasoning for closing the ride is, we can most likely conclude that in the end such an old attraction like Log Jammer would be so costly to maintain, it'd be just as expensive to invest in a new ride. I have doubt that the park will use this land for anything next year, but in 2013, we're sure to see something bigger there.. If not that, at least know about it.
Seeing the area that Log Jammer occupies, there's a golden opportunity for another grand coaster at Magic Mountain.
