April 19, 1993- On Saturday, nearly a thousand kids who were turned away from entering sold-out park, started riots outside involving the surrounding area. Looting from several stores nearby were reported as well as restaurants. Not only this, but kids already inside the park were turned down from the sold-out TLC and Paperboy concert. This caused in-park venues to be vandalized, along with more rioting. Over 900 deputies were called out due to the violence, even some in full riot gear trying to control the rioters. As a result, Magic Mountain later banned future rap performances at the park. The park also started a full-on clean up after the rampages seized.
