Green Lantern Site:
Not a lot of new action at the Green Lantern construction site has emerged, but signs of work is still showing up. For one, you can tell crews have started to paint the facades to the side beginning with the last one on the right. It's unclear what color or theme the building fronts will be, but the white is probably a simple primer before the new paint is put on. Deep trenches almost like gridwork have been dug up in the center, which could be for powerlines or utilities. With the construction as slow as it is now, it leaves many questioning whether the ride will actually open in time for Memorial Day Weekend.

Walking Bush:
At first look, this new character isn't your every day Six Flags character like Bugs Bunny or Batman.. It's a Walking Bush on Stilts! Find him (or her) near the Rapids Camp Crossing area under Revolution's lift. Initially, we didn't notice the thing since it blended in so well in the bushes until it walked out onto the sidewalk catching an unsuspected woman by surprise. It reminded me of the Camp Gonnagetcha scare zone. Nevertheless, it's a nice touch.

JB's Smokehouse Barbeque OPEN:
The new JB's SmokeHouse Barbeque food joint at Magic Mountain opened as the second BBQ restaurant venue to go into that building yet. Formerly known as Longhorn's BBQ, and even before that Eduardo's Grill, JB's opened to somewhat of a good crowd. Theming inside was no different than Longhorn's, and the menu was just tipping the scales of average pricing.
